Since our founding in 1987, DJM has provided comprehensive ecological restoration services and management of native plant communities to clients in a wide range of sectors including government (federal, state, and local), education, agriculture, manufacturing, construction, private lands/HOAs, public utilities, and infrastructure.

We offer consulting services to help our clients create plans that will best utilize their site’s ecology, construction services to make those plans a reality, and regular stewardship services to ensure these spaces are maintained. Our areas of expertise include earthwork and grading, bioretention basins and stormwater BMPs, green roofing, native landscapes, streambank stabilization, erosion control, environmental stewardship, and arborist services.

We hire scientists, certified arborists, and restoration technicians who are passionate about their work. Our team members hold degrees in Natural Resources & Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, Forestry, Fisheries, Wildlife Management, Chemical Engineering, and Finance, to name a few.
