Since 2018, the Rock Island District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has engaged DJM to perform a suite
of forestry services across many Corps-owned sites. Scopes including invasive species control, timber stand
improvement, tree planting, and seeding have occurred across 15+ locations, including river islands and wildlife
management areas. These remote and riverine sites require special safety and logistical considerations, often utilizing barges and boats to transport equipment, materials, and people to the project locations.
